My 2 page dramatic spread in Jam in the Band 3 has now been re-edited to a 4 page spread. This is some of my favorite stuff that I’ve done in the last year or so. Just because it so out of my wheelhouse imagery wise. Even if it is rather depressing. Ugh. Sorry.
Minor milestone as Jam in the Band 3 reaches 50 pages today. Including the filth above. I dunno. I feel like I have finally reached the point where my pages look the way I imagine them. Which is a little weird. Anyways, enjoy!
Glad to see Beyond the Black Rainbow getting a wider release. It was my favorite movie last year. Even if like half the audience walked out during the screening.
This is kind of amazing. Its so rare to here game makers speak this way about their games. Especially with such a distance of time. Masters of Doom is probably my second favorite book on video games and this is an nice addendum. Plus, John Carmack sounds exactly like I imagined he would.
Kate B. recommended this one awhile back, glad I watched it. Goin’ Down the Road (1970) is exactly the kind of bleak Cassavettes-esque sort of movie I feel I am always into watching. Ahhh, the 70’s.
Again from the archives. Forgot I even had this song. I really need revisit MST3k. This goes nicely with my desperately trying to teach students about Greek and Roman mythology and playing God of War.
I think this is my secret song of 2012. In that it keeps coming up. First at the anti-valentines day show, then EMA played it for her encore, and then you know, Hole played it on a stage I would be selling my ‘zines at about 12 hours later. I think I need to have like a long chat with like Rachel and any other gals my age about what that band meant to them back in the day.
Man I just pissed away a bunch of hours trying to fix my DS and only ended up making it worse. Time to wait on parts from Hong Kong again. At least this Frank Black song came up while going through my music archives.
Oh hey. I’ve been updating my site a bunch lately. Check out new pages of Jam in the Band 3 up there, including the page above. Filthy, filthy. Who am I kidding? Everyone loves Becky Vice.
Where am I going to find the 720 minutes I need, NEED to watch all of the Alex Bag show at Team Gallery? WHEERRRREEEEeeee? Time to move in.
